Numerous College Credit Choices for Students

Lincoln High Schools offers a vast array of college credit opportunities for our students. Over the last number of years approximately 60% of our graduating seniors have taken a college level class that offers the potential to earn college credit. These courses include Ten Advanced Placement (AP) courses and one Concurrent College Credit courses through Southwest State University. We also have an extensive CLEP Testing program at Lincoln. All of these College Credit opportunities include:
  • AP US History
  • AP Human Geography
  • AP Calculus
  • AP Statistics
  • AP English Literature
  • AP English Language
  • AP Biology
  • AP Chemistry
  • AP Music Theory
  • AP Studio Art
  • Concurrent College Algebra

In addition to these courses, Lincoln High School administered over 100 CLEP exams during the 2009-10 school year. This college test out program offeres college credit for those students that pass this test at the conclusion of a course at Lincoln. Over 75 students have earned college credit via the CLEP over the last two years at Lincoln High School!
