Welcome to Bluff View Elementary School. My name is Eric Aeschlimann (ASH - leh-man) and I will be the principal at Bluff View starting this school year 2022-23. I am so excited to be leading such a wonderful school. I have already met so many teachers, students, and staff who are proud to be Tigers! 

A little bit about me: I am married, my wife and I were both born and raised in rural South Dakota. I graduated from Luther College and was a PE teacher for much of my career. I taught in Alaska and Texas before moving to Minnesota in 2000. We have 3 children, ages 23, 21, and 17, two dogs, and one cat, and we live in Rochester. 

My goal for Bluff View is to create a place where all of our students feel safe and a place where they can reach their full potential.
